Beldare is dedicated to building more than just houses – we believe in building a better society with the appropriate services needed to cater for residents. Just as we want to see our proud homeowners thrive in their new communities, we want to see their communities thrive around them.
Supporting the good work of the community organisations that do so much for the fabric of our society is very important to us. We consider it a privilege to support the development of our communities in any way we can in the areas of sport and recreation, health and wellness and charitable giving to worthy causes.
In recent years, we have been pleased to support Sligo Rovers FC, Sligo GAA, St Patrick’s GAA Club, Ballisodare United, Ballisodare playground redevelopment and Ballisodare Community Centre. Beldare has also supported Future for Fiadh, Sligo’s Christmas Toy Sale Appeal in aid of SVP, Darkness into Light Sligo, Lego to Laois, and Ulemu – educating children in rural Malawi.
We have a strong commitment to improving existing derelict and vacant building stock in towns and villages throughout Ireland to bring life back into previously loved units and commercial buildings. Our current pipeline of works includes a number of such buildings which the company is proactively working to bring back into use.
